Residential Real Estate refers to housing such as:
- Single Family Detached (Free standing home)
- Single Family Attached (Duplex type)
- Condominiums having a common area (multi-units attached)
- Townhouses having a common area (multi-units attached two story)
Each of the above categories require a different approach to
buy or sell a property, and a different process in getting the financing
as well as closing escrow with the title company.
For example, condominiums and townhouses have home owner
associations and monthly fees as well as CC&R (Conditions, Covenants,
and Restrictions) which are certain do's and don'ts and restrictions which
have been imposed on each property through the by-laws of their Associations.
